Oğlu’s visit to Israel.. exposed camouflage

Turkey's foreign minister visits Israel for the first time in 15 years.

It is not only media campaigns carried out by stations and platforms affiliated with the authorities that are misleading and editing the facts, but also openly practiced by politicians, but in different ways.

Turkey is considered the most contradictory and creative country in the methods of political evasion and lying to peoples. In conjunction with the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu to Israel, the media supporting political Islam in order to justify the visit, led by the Qatari channel Al-Jazeera, which narrative has been echoed that Turkey’s normalization with Israel is in the interest of Palestine.

But Turks may have felt that today’s media campaign is inadequate, and more measures must be taken to preserve the Brotherhood segment on which Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is based in establishing his rule.

Thus, on his visit to Israel, Oglu went to Ramallah and met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Observers described Oğlu’s visit to Ramallah as an exposed camouflage, and others considered it as an opportunity for Palestinians to see the truth of Turkey’s position and to know that previous statements criticizing Israel and crying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque were nothing more than a play on their feelings and an attempt to attract sympathy.

During his visit to Ramallah, the Turkish Foreign Minister sought to convince the Palestinians that the normalization of the relationship with Israel would not be at their expense, and that the two matters were completely separate.

The Turkish Minister softened his statements regarding the confrontations in Al-Aqsa; He said that the clashes had disturbed his country, adding: “It is important for all Muslims to protect the inviolability and prestige of Al-Aqsa.”

Observers believe that Erdogan no longer needs slogans that flirt with Palestinians, nor does he need Hamas’ statements praising his positions. This has come from the past and at a time when its purposes have been met with the attention of Israelis.

The Turkish President is now trying to placate Tel Aviv with a view to normalizing relations with it, as his speeches in the recent period have been free of his heavy-handed verbal attacks that he used extensively.

Despite the Turkish Foreign Minister’s assertion that the normalization of relations between Turkey and Israel would have a “positive impact” in order to resolve the “peaceful” Palestinian-Israeli conflict, statements were devoid of Palestine or its cause and the talks of Oğlu and Yair Lapid were based on historical and economic relations between their countries and how to improve them only in the interest of the two countries without paying attention to Palestine and its cause.

Analysts believe that this convergence is in response to Erdogan’s desire to strengthen his country’s struggling economy and to complete a gas pipeline linking Turkey to Israel.

Erdogan recently said he was open to reforming tense relations between Turkey and Israel following a decline in U.S. support for the controversial Mediterranean gas pipeline.

Erdogan added that he was reviving talks with Israel on an old idea to bring Mediterranean gas to European customers through Turkey, claiming “as Turkey, we will do our best to cooperate on a profit basis for all, as politicians, not to be here for conflicts but to live in peace.”

It is also worth mentioning that Cavusoglu visited Wednesday the Nazi Holocaust Memorial “Holocaust” before heading to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, and this is a clear arrangement of priorities for Turkey.

Here, the picture and its time suffice to know the truth of the false statements and media misinformation about Turkey and its policies in the region, and that Erdogan, who mortgaged his country to Qatar’s policies, will not be honest with others’ countries.
